Perhaps the biggest draw of the neighborhood is its proximity to Piedmont Park, one of the largest city green spaces in the Southeast. Piedmont Park contains more than 185 acres of fields, woods, walking trails, event spaces and playgrounds. Many of the city’s major events, like the Dogwood Festival, Atlanta Pride and the Music Midtown arts and entertainment festival are held in the park every year.
Homes in the neighborhood range from two and three bedroom single-family units to some of the largest homes available in Atlanta. Local architecture reminds residents of a bygone era of Atlanta life, though there are many new homes and modern amenities to be found in Morningside, as well.
Schools in the area include Morningside Elementary, Inman Middle School and Grady High School and all belong to the Atlanta Public School System. Two daycare facilities, International Preschools at Virginia Highland and Intown Montessori, also offer convenient pre-k options for local residents.
Morningside is a fantastic in-town neighborhood, and I invite you to contact me to learn more about wonderful Morningside neighborhood and all it has to offer its residents.
